My Workspace

1. Overview: What is the "My Workspace" Panel?

The 'My Workspace' panel is the default landing tab for all ePlanVue users upon signing up or logging in. Initially, it displays no documents. Once the user uploads their first PDF document, it appears in the PDF List View. Documents are retained based on the agency’s storage capacity and retention policy.
Think of My Workspace as a digital representation of a plan reviewer’s desk—serving as the central hub where all uploaded documents are stored and easily accessible.

Allows users to upload PDF documents for plan review. Provides error feedback for invalid files.

Enables streamlined document submission for users, reducing errors.

PDF Upload Prompt

Users can add an optional due date and automatically capture the upload date and document name.

Helps users organize their documents effectively by enabling sorting based on upload date or due date.

PDF Upload Progress Bar

Displays a progress bar during uploads, providing continuous feedback with the option to cancel.

Provides awareness of upload status and the ability to stop uploads if needed.

PDF List View

Displays uploaded PDF documents in a list view with pagination and sorting options.

Provides a comprehensive overview of uploaded documents to streamline navigation.

PDF List View Filter & Sorting

Users can apply one filtering or sorting option at a time for efficient navigation.

Improves document management by making it easier to locate specific files.

PDF File Delete

Users can delete a document by clicking the 3-dot radio button. Deleted files are removed immediately for the file owner.

Helps users manage their storage capacity efficiently and declutter files they no longer need.

PDF File Rename

Users can rename documents directly from the list view. Changes are applied in real-time.

Allows users to adjust file names for clarity or improved organization.

PDF File Download

Users can download documents with or without markups.

Provides offline access to files as needed.

PDF File Share

Users can share documents with up to 10 licensed EPV users at a time with an optional message.

Enables seamless collaboration and document review among multiple stakeholders.

   3. Best Practices & Tips

  • Use sorting and filtering options to efficiently manage large volumes of uploaded documents.

  • Use the upload prompt to set due dates and improve document tracking.

  • Take advantage of the PDF List View pagination to reduce clutter.

  • Always review file size requirements (max 400MB for single PDFs and 8GB for multiple uploads)
