FAQ: Stamps

What is the Stamp feature in EPV?

The Stamp feature allows users to create, manage, and apply stamps within the 'Stamp and Sign' bucket. It enables users to easily organize, reuse, and manage their personalized stamps.

How do I create a new stamp?

To create a new stamp:

  • Click the **Stamp** tool in the 'Stamp and Sign' bucket.

  • Click the **'Create Stamp'** CTA in the left-hand panel.

  • In the Create Stamp modal, click **Upload** or drag and drop a stamp file.

  • Accepted formats are **JPEG** or **PNG**. The maximum file size is **3MB**.

  • If your file exceeds 3MB, the option to upload will be disabled.

  • After uploading, click **Create** to add the stamp to your list.

How are my stamps organized?

Your uploaded stamps are listed in your stamp panel sorted by **Newest First** by default. There is **no limit** to the number of stamps you can upload.

Are my stamps visible to others?

No, stamps are **user-tied**, meaning they are visible only to you and persist across documents and sessions.

How do I delete a stamp?

To delete a stamp:

  • Click the **trash icon** next to the stamp in your list.

  • Deleted stamps are removed instantly without refreshing the page.

  • If a stamp has already been placed in the markup panel, deleting it from the list will **not remove** it from the document.

What actions can I take with a placed stamp?

Once a stamp has been placed in your document, you can:

  • **Comment** on the stamp.

  • **Link** it to a URL or page.

  • **Delete**, **rotate**, **expand**, **shrink**, or **drag** it around the page.

  • Move the stamp to another page if needed.

How do I manage the Stamp Panel?

When the stamp panel is enabled:

  • You can **shrink** or **expand** the panel to adjust content visibility.

  • If you have multiple stamps, you can **scroll up and down** to view them all.

  • Click the **'X' (close)** icon in the top right corner to close the panel.
