FAQ: Signature

What is the Signature feature in EPV?

The Signature feature in EPV allows users to create, manage, and apply signatures within the 'Stamp and Sign' bucket.

How do I create a new signature?

To create a new signature:

  • Click the **Signature** tool in the 'Stamp and Sign' bucket.

  • Click the **'Create Signature'** CTA in the left-hand panel.

  • In the Create Signature modal, click **Upload** or drag and drop a signature file.

Accepted formats are **JPEG** or **PNG**.
The maximum file size is **3MB**.
If your file exceeds 3MB, the option to upload will be disabled.
After uploading, click **Create** to add the signature to your list.

How can I manage my signature list?

Your uploaded signatures will appear in a list, sorted by **Newest First** by default.
Users can upload a maximum of **10 signatures**.
Signatures are **user-tied**, meaning they are visible only to you and persist across documents and sessions.

How do I delete a signature?

To delete a signature:

  • In your signature list, click the **trash icon** next to the signature you want to delete.

Deleted signatures are removed instantly from your list without refreshing the page.
If a signature has already been placed in the markup panel, deleting it from the list will **not remove** it from the document.

How can I interact with placed signatures?

Once a signature has been placed in your document, you can:

  • **Comment** on the signature.

  • **Link** it to a URL or page.

  • **Delete**, **rotate**, **expand**, **shrink**, or **drag** it around the page.

You can also move the signature to another page if needed.

What controls are available in the Signature Panel?

When the signature panel is enabled:

  • You can **shrink** or **expand** the panel to adjust content visibility.

  • If you have multiple signatures, you can **scroll up and down** to view them all.

  • Click the **'X' (close)** icon in the top right corner to close the panel.
